Do you hold a current Builders Licence?
Yes. We have a current Low-Medium Rise Residential builder’s licence and it is held by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).
Thomas Anderson is our principle builder for Dream Projects & Properties.
Do you hold current Insurance?
Yes. We hold Construction Works, Public, and Products Liability Insurance with Master Builders. Policy Number: BQA140018041
Also, any residential work worth more than $3,300 (including labour and materials) must have home warranty insurance with QBCC. This fee is calculated into your estimation and is purchased once the Master Builders ‘build contract’ is signed, 5% deposit is paid and before the construction works have commenced.

Can I modify one of your house designs/plans to suit me?
Yes. Small changes can be made at no extra cost although large changes may be at an extra cost to you.
If you are unsure how many changes you require or if it will be an extra cost, please book in for your No-Obligation Project Brief and we will discuss your needs and assess with our designers if it will be an extra cost for you.
How do I know what the costs will be before signing a build contract?
First, we will assist you in the completion of a Project design Brief. This allows us to get an in-depth understanding of your project, site, and design ideas. From there we will produce design plans to best suit your site and budget.

We will then give you a quote for the preliminary construction costs such as a soil test and site survey. Once we have completed the preliminary construction work, we will then be able to provide you with an in-depth fixed build contract price.
This process ensures you are happy with the design and price, and also ensures there are no hidden surprises and you know exactly what you are getting before signing the building contract.

Can you provide a build price estimation on our own design/plans?
Yes. If you have fully prepared drawings, we are more than happy to work with those or liaise your own designer/architect.
Also, if you have some ideas and have drawn these, we can take them to our designer who will produce real plans to the best of your ideas, budget, and site.

Does your work come with any warranty?
Yes. We provide a three-month warranty period as well as seven years on structural areas of the home per QBCC requirements.
